Describe your experience with Gold Coast IVF.
The most friendly, least medical feeling doctors office I've ever been to I never felt like I was annoying anyone by calling to ask questions. Every single person there was warm and friendly.
During treatment, did you feel like you were treated like a number or a human?
Dr. PALTER was obviously passionate about his job. He made my husband and I feel completely comfortable from the minute we walked in his office door. The front desk staff was so accommodating and friendly, I never felt like I was walking into a medical facility. Everyone knew your name from the second visit. The office manager even sent a stress relief candle to my house before I even had my first appointment. Dr. Palter told it like it is, but with empathy... we felt we could ask any questions we had and express any concern without judgement or annoyance.
Describe your experience with your nurse.
Barbara had a lot of experience and was very compassionate. At times I felt confused when she gave me directions, but if I asked for clarification, she'd always explain. On one occasion (when I was told IVF was the next step) I was overwhelmed and crying on the way out. She stopped what she was doing and hugged me. It meant a lot.
How was your experience with Steven Palter?
Dr.Palter is amazing. He makes you feel comfortable from minute one. He never rushes you, and makes it clear that he's there to answer all your questions. If you need something explained 30 times, he will stay there and explain it. He has answered emails on a weekend. There is no comparison to other fertility docs that I went to. My husband and I trusted Dr. Palter, and he proved worthy of that trust when he adjusted treatments based on results. Other clinics treated every patient the same, like a number. Dr.Palter treated us like people, completely individual from other patients. Our case had nothing to do with "what they usually have with patients." Overall, Dr. Palter is amazing. I would 100 percent recommend him to anyone looking for a great fertility doc. I drove over 45 minutes to him, and I would do it again if I had to. I don't even know if our first round of IVF worked yet, but everything above will remain the same, regardless of the result.
What one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Steven Palter?
Ask any questions you need to. Then ask again. Don't hesitate or feel uncomfortable.

Describe your experience with your monitoring appointments.
Appointments were early in the morning and generally you were in and out. A well oiled machine for sure
Describe the costs associated with your care under Steven Palter.
My insurance copay was 15 dollars for the visit and 15 for diagnostic procedure. If I got bloodwork, it was a 15 dollar copay. Bloodwork and US was 30. I was told clearly what we'd have to pay put of pocket for IVF after insurance, which was 5100 not including meds and monitoring appts
